About me:
Welcome to my home page. I am a postdoc at the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of sciences of the Czech Republic. Before, I studied Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at Charles University, and I also spent two years in Warsaw, as a postdoc at the Nicolas Copernicus Astronomical Center and then another two years in Cardiff, as a Marie-Curie fellow at the Cardiff University.
Research interests:
  • Computational fluid dynamics (CFD), grid-based codes. Self-gravity, numerical solution of the Poisson equation, multigrid methods. Radiation transport.
  • Structures in the interstellar medium, HI shells and supershells, their gravitational instabilities, mass spectrum of fragments.
  • Protoplanetary discs, layered accretion, disc-planet interaction.
