ASU mobility: Call for Applications (10)

The Astronomical Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences invites applications for a 3-month collaborative stay of a senior researcher at Nicolaeus Copernicus Astronomical center in Warszaw. The stay will be funded through a working agreement in the framework of the project “Support of international collaboration in astronomy”, which is provided by the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports. The monthly salary will be approximately 3900 Eur and it includes health insurance. The commencement is expected on the 1st of September 2022.
The collaboration will be on the topic of "theoretical modeling of non-stationary accretion flows around black holes and neutron stars" with a special attention to a variability and nonlinear interactions of various oscillation modes of thin and thick accretion disks and effects strong radiation field on the dynamics of the flow. A successful applicant will collaborate with Prof. Wlodek Kluzniak and other members of the institute.
